Volunteers

Much of the work at the Crisis Centre is accomplished by the volunteers. They man the 24-hour Hotline after working hours and at weekends and holidays and provide support for victims of rape and domestic violence. Our volunteers also organize fund raising activities and exhibitions and provide cover at functions at which the Centre is invited to participate.

The Centre could not offer all the services available if it were not for the volunteers.

Each year new volunteers are trained and become part of the vibrant team offering support to those persons experiencing family problems and abuse.

Thanks to all of our volunteers as you continue to assist in the sensitization of the community to the devastating effects of all forms of abuse!

If you would like to volunteer please fill out the application form and send or take into the Crisis Centre
